Sweet

Every morning Mason and I head to the kitchen for some breakfast after watching The Price is Right. Yes, that's right, Mason loves TPIR. Everytime they give a new car away he gets so excited and says "whoa". Anyway, after I fix our breakfasts, we sit at the bar and he always reaches over and grabs my hand. He loves to hold onto my hand while he eats his breakfast. It's the cutest thing, but I have had to master eating my cereal with my left hand. I guess just when you think that you aren't doing a good job as a Mom, things like this let you know that you are.

To Nap or Not

Some of you may be thinking that this has to do with Mason, well you are wrong. It's me. I have the daily dilema of trying to decide whether or not to take a nap with Mason. I don't know why it's such a hard decision for me. Mason is really good at taking 2+ hour naps, and every day I find it harder and harder to resist snuggling up with him. I always go down the checklist of things that I could/should be doing instead, but somehow I always end up crawling into the bed next to Mason. Do any other Mom's feel guilty for taking naps? Or am I just being wierd? I justify it by telling myself I am pregnant and I won't be able to do it once the new baby comes.

Bunny Ears

We had a great Easter weekend. I have always loved Easter, and it's even more fun now that I have a kid. On Saturday morning we went down to the Gateway because I heard there was some sort of a parade. It was kind of lame, but they were handing out these paper bunny ears for the kids. We put some on Mason fully expecting him to rip them off, but he kept them on all ALL DAY and would not take them off. He kept checking in all the mirror's in the stores to make sure they were still on. It was so funny, and he looked so cute. That afternoon we had the annual Daw Easter egg hunts. My Mom always goes all out for the kids and then there is an adult hunt with money involved. It gets pretty competitive. I couldn't be on my "A" game this year because of my growing belly, but we did win $50! It was a lot of fun. Easter Sunday was nice we had a family barbeque and had a lot of fun.
