We went to the Tulip festival with my Mom and Dad and sister in law and cousins. It was such a great day. Mason absolutely ADORES his cousin Madelyn and had a blast with her chasing bubbles and just running around. On a side note, I swore I would never buy my kid character attire. Well, I caved as you can see by Mason's Lightning McQueen shoes.

I think we mothers ALL say we are NEVER buying ANYTHING character for our children...we all cave. Crying vs. ugly shoes....I'll take the ugly shoes, thanks!

I have vowed the same thing, no character clothing. Well, we have loads and loads of it. It seems everyone else out there loves them and always buys them for us. I have to put my foot down for anything winnie the pooh.
The festival looks gorgeous. How fun to go with family.
