Sweet Bev

My Grandma Daw passed away on the 27th. She had been suffering from Alzheimers for a few years and recently broke her hip which ultimately took her. I will miss her and her sweet spirit. I wish I could have seen the reunion between her and Grandpa. I am sure it was awesome. I love you Grandma!!

6 Months

My little Dillon is already 6 months old. I can't believe how fast time goes. I love this stage. It is so much fun. He is the best baby and we love him so much.

This is what Mason wanted for breakfast today.. minus the toast and banana. Which were forced on him to make myself feel better. I guess Cheetos for Breakfast every once in a while won't hurt. Right?

Happy Anniversary Babe.

Today is mine and Cameron's 9 year anniversary. I am so lucky to be married to such an amazing guy. He is my best friend. There is nobody else I could be married to. He is the best Dad, my boys absolutely adore him. Thanks for the best 9 years of my life, Cam. I love you.

I wouldn't really consider myself a HUGE Twilight fanatic, I liked the books but never thought about them after I read them. Well, after I saw the movie last night, I only have 3 words.... Edward, I'm Yours.

A Cute Font

So a couple of weeks ago I changed the font on my blog. It is a really cute font and I was so excited that I figured out how to do it. Well, apparantly I am the only one that can see it. I am so bummed because it really makes my blog look cute. Does anyone know how to fix it so that everyone can see it? Or, let me know if you can see it. It's sort of a cursive font called Segoe Script. Any help would be appreciated!

Wheeler Farm

We went to Wheeler Farm today with cousin Jack. They were so cute. Mason even let Jack hold his hand for a little bit. I love how cute they are together.. when they are getting along. :) It was such a beautiful day.

One of those days

Some days I go crazy being a Mom, but then there are those days when my boys are so sweet and good. Today has been one of those days when I am LOVING being a Mom.

Sharing Snacks

Yesterday I gave Mason a snack. This is what he did with it. After which he insisted I give all of his friends a drink of water. So cute.

Trick or Treat

We had a blast for Halloween. I even managed to dress up but didn't get a picture?? I was a cat. I thought that if I dressed up then Mason would be more likely to. I was right! He wore his costume the entire night! I was so happy. He loved it and loved that he had all this candy to choose from. He would stop along the way and eat a little here and there. He looked so cute. He had so fun with his cousin Jack who looked so cute in his football costume.

YESTERDAY WAS MY WAIT FOR IT... 30TH BIRTHDAY!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I AM 30. NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS WAS I EVER GOING TO BE 30. I WAS THINKING WHEN I WOKE UP THAT I SHOULD BE DEPRESSED THAT I WAS TURNING 30. BUT IN ALL ACTUALITY, I WAS FEELING REALLY HAPPY BECAUSE IT MEANS THAT I HAVE LIVED 30 YEARS AND HAVE HAD A WONDERFUL LIFE SO FAR. I JUST FEEL SO BLESSED TO HAVE A HUSBAND THAT IS THE GREATEST AND TWO BEAUTIFUL HEALTHY LITTLE BOYS THAT I LOVE MORE THAN I CAN SAY. I SPENT THE DAY WITH MY LITTLE FAMILY. WE HAD TO GO TO THE DOCTOR IN THE MORNING FOR DILLON'S 4 MONTH CHECK UP, AND TO GET FLU SHOTS. THEN WE WENT TO LUNCH AND WENT TO THE PARK. MY MOM WAS WONDERFUL AND TENDED MY BOYS WHILE CAMERON AND I WENT TO A MOVIE. IT WAS SO NICE TO HAVE SOME TIME ALONE WITH CAMERON. THEN MY MOM HAD A YUMMY PIE AND ICE CREAM AND SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY WHEN WE GOT HOME. IT WAS A GREAT DAY, LOW KEY AND SPENT WITH ALL THE PEOPLE I LOVE THE VERY MOST! THANKS EVERYONE FOR ALL THE MANY PHONE CALLS OF BIRTHDAY WISHES.

you leave a 2 year old in the bathroom alone. our sink broke and cameron left to go grab something and i went to check on mason and came into this. him sitting in the sink full of water with his clothes on with screwdrivers in hand. not very safe i know but cute nonetheless.

as you may know, we are HUGE Utah fans at our house. we are so excited that they are undefeated and know they will go all the way and beat those nasty cougars. my boys have no choice in the matter they WILL be Utah fans or we might have to disown them. kidding...sorda

every morning I take the boys on a 3 mile loop around Draper. this morning we saw a family of deer eating their breakfast. it was absolutely perfect outside, i wish it could stay like this all year.

raspberries

mason loves raspberries. grandma cindy has a raspberry bush and mason frequently visits to see if there are ripe "rapberr" for the picking. today he managed to get quite a few.

bottles b gone

I never thought the day would come when I could say that Mason no longer has a bottle. I thought that he would be packing a bottle or two to kindergarten with him. But, with a little persistence, a night with no sleep, being hit in the face a few times with a sippy cup he has finally kicked the habit. He hasn't said the words "Ba Ba" in two days and has slept pretty much through the night the past two nights. He won't take a sippy so we pretty much went cold turkey. Next up, the blasted binky.....

Weekend Getaway

Last weekend we took a little trip up to Bear Lake and stayed in my family cabin. We took some of Cameron's family. It was a lot of fun and much needed. We hadn't been anywhere all summer because of Dillon's situation, so it was really nice to get away finally. We spent time at the beach riding four wheelers and playing in the freezing cold water. I think that Mason is missing a cold sensor because he acts like it doesn't even bother him. He would play in it all day. On Saturday, we took a little day trip up to Jackson Hole and had lunch and just enjoyed the fall weather. It was so beautiful.

happy birthday buddy

IT was Mason's second birthday today. I can't believe that he is 2 already. Time flies. I think he had a good day. he got some really nice gifts and had fun with his cousins, we missed Amanda and Adam and their kids so much. It just wasn't the same without them! Cameron and I bought him an electric four wheeler. He didn't like it at first much to Cameron's dismay, but now he can't get enough of it. Mason we love you so much and are so happy that you are in our family. You make my life so much sweeter. Happy Birthday my big boy!!
